Am I already Burnt Out

This weekend was an exercise in futility.

For some reason I decided to work all day Saturday, and by time I was supposed to start drinking, I had passed out... Combine that with my 11 pm crashing on Friday, and its safe to say that maybe I need to stop working as hard.
Some highlights were meeting up for dinner with a bunch of friends. It's pretty wild how a fun dinner can really lift spirits.
This week seems a lot lighter than last one, and I get to go back home with the girlfriend to celebrate my birthday.
Should be fun,

Internship Class--Just Kill Me

So last night I had to spend over two hours in my internship class. For those of you who don't know, an Internship class is a requirement my school adds on to our internships in order for us to receive credit (Apparently 16 hours on the job is not enough).
The topic last night was "resumes". But, since the topic is so dense, we get to spend two class sessions learning how to build our resumes. Last night's focus was on the layout.
Thats right, two hours, learning how to lay-out a fucking resume.
When I got home, my girlfriend was engaged in an ice-cream contest against one of our friends. I woke up this morning to see her shaking in some sort of diabetic shock...

Cop-Calls, Hangovers, and Job Apps.

Hey all,

Sorry for the delay, but I have been running ragged the last few days, and the thought of using my computer at home was making me more nauseas than the Saturday morning kegs and eggs.
My week has been even busier than usual because I started working on job applications (after all, how can you really have senior-itis when you don't have a job lined up)
Anyways, this past weekend was a nice break from the norm. Phil Bender, the annual excuse for us to act like a real school was Saturday, and I spent the first three hours of my day drinking, the last eight hours cursing myself for spending the first three hours of my day drinking.
On Friday, we had a house party and I got to deal with the long arm of the law, who felt it necessary to talk to five 21-year-olds inside the house, while streams of under-agers went running for the hills.
Since Monday I have been logging twelve hour days, shuttling from work to school and back again. The bright spots have been a few minutes here and there on the basketball courts, but even those don't seem so great when your losing 11-0.
I promise posts will start becoming more frequent, this is ten times better than paying attention.
